I decided to make myself a Reaper. I know I'm a hypocrite, but it's just such a cool idea, and I love *Failed-romance-x and wanted to make one of her breed. It's so original! Anywho, I only get to make him officially a Reaper if he's chosen in the contest...so wish him and I luck!

Personality: Pelli is a very loving and compassionate individual, who is determined to do his job, and do it well. He can get a bit flirty at times, and seems especially attracted to sorrowful, or broken individuals, perhaps out of determination to put them back together again with his charm and affection. He has a highly private side to him, however, that he doesn't let show. It isn't a dark side, just a secretive life away from the path that seemingly chose him. Pelli seems to have problems finding love for himself, though makes up for it by basking in all the love he gets to deliver daily, and the happiness he brings to others.
History: Kokopelli was born to a long line of Spirit Guides. Mommy was a Spirit Guide, Daddy was a Spirit Guide, Mommy's mommy....you get the jist. When Pelli was born, his tiny horn, somewhat shaped like a heart, won him his name, and a childhood full of torment. His elder brothers would tease him, tell him he was destined to be an Archer, that he would let their parents down, and Pelli felt slightly ashamed, praying that he wouldn't become an Archer. As his brothers grew, they too became Spirit Guides like their parents, and Pelli continued to worry over his fate. Of course, he grew as well, and feared the seemingly inevitable fate that was creeping up behind him. Finally, the day came, and with his family observing, the Elder Seer came to grant him his role among the Reapers. "Please, don't let me be an Archer." Pelli pleaded with the Elder quietly, who looked over his pink marking and the slowly pink fading tips to his mane and tail, slight amusement on her face. "Oh, but you will be such a good one, child. Do you even know what an Archer does?" She asked patiently, and Pelli considered it a moment. "No..." He finally admitted, ears flicking back and eyes adverted to the ground. "You are a romantic fellow are you not?" The Elder murmured, her lips curving up slightly as Pelli seemed to blush under his dark fur. "I see you chasing those fillies around day in and day out, matching them up with your friends...in a way, that is what you will continue to do. You will remind others that they are loved, and death will never change that." Pelli seemed to consider this for a moment, then whispered, "But what about my parents?" "They'll be proud of you, whatever you are. I know it." She replied, nipping at his forelock playfully before encouraging him to stand with his family.
Soon, the ritual was done. He was an Archer, and just as the Elder said, they loved him for what he was (his mother said she knew it all along). When he came to pick his charm, he wandered over to see those laid out before him. The heart called to him, of course, glowing with that soft pink essence he seemed to embody, and so he hung it in the hollow of his horn, a soft light amidst the hard rock.
