Description Along with my framed print of my Vectorman drawing:

It's the first artwork of mine that I've hung on my walls.

As for my rig's configuration, it's a Dual Intel Pentium 2.20 GHz x2 PC, with 3.00 GB RAM, a Radeon 3650 1GB Graphics Card, a DVD R/W/RW Blu-Ray R Drive, and two 500 GB HDs.

The laptop is a 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook, with 2 GB RAM, CD RW DVD R, and 120 GB HD.

On the desk are two Acer x203w monitors and an 8" Intuos3 tablet for the desktop and a Bamboo Fun for the laptop.

Also, this is a look at my new workspace setup. You should see what it looked like before!

So neat and tidy! Those lights above your desk look so useful. Hey I noticed the C++ book. Do you code too?

Yep, been coding since I was a kid, as well as worked as a programmer for Zynga and Toowire, Inc. The lights are even more useful as they're Hue bulbs so the lights are voice activated and can change colors and brightness (all the lights in my room have them). I'm kind of a tech head.

Wow that is so cool that you've been coding since a kid! Zynga makes games right? If you don't mind me asking, I'm just curious, what kind of work did you do? Was it coding or did you make art too?

I used to be a programmer at a utility billing/payroll software company. It's kind of dry xD Utility bills can get more complicated than you think lol!

Those lights are super cool! I can't hang anything up in my apartment that isn't a push pin but if I ever get my own place I totally want something like those !

I worked on writing programs to automate a lot of the testing process for Zynga's games, of which my biggest contribution was creating a system for allowing automated testing of multiplayer. As for creating games, I programmed learning games for Toolwire, Inc of which I also created some of the artwork for. That's so cool you're a coder/artist as well, we're kind of a rare breed.

Oh that's very cool. I never worked at a place that had automated testing but my coworkers and I would always talk about how great it would be. That's also awesome you got to combine the two and create some art too

One day I hope to start my own game company, so I can combine the three things I love to do most, program, create art, and design games. If I ever do, maybe we could team up. I would love to partner with someone like you, as I've said we're a rare breed.

so tidy...mine is a complete mess most of the time...everyone in the family thinks my workspace is for all the junk mail and stuff they don't want...

I'm big on storage space (cause I'm pretty much a pack rat). This room already got a ton of shelves and drawers, and I'm always looking for ways to add more (tastefully of course). I just hate to constantly look for things, hence it was a requirement that my new desk have a filing drawer, pull out keyboard tray and raised monitor stand that can fit my two monitors when I went shopping for one. Yay! I can actually use my desk to draw on again.

The addition of the bookshelf was so I can have easy access to computer books and get them off the floor. I'm pretty happy with how this room is turning out.

not a whole lot of storage space right now...hubby is "supposed" to be making me a wall of built-in bookshelves, where the bottom half is all cabinets with pull out shelves for storage...lord only knows when that will be though
I would also love to have an L shaped desk where I can have one side for digital work and all the tools for that and one side for traditional work and all my supplies for that...haven't convinced him to build me that yet though...lol
hoping that when my 2nd oldest stepdaughter moves out tomorrow that he will run the cable inet to her room so I can move my office in there...at least there is a huge closet with shelves in there to put some of this stuff

Ikea, Home Depot, and surprisingly Walmart and Target have been good to me. All I really want to add more is a new entertainment center with DVD shelves, and that I can attach this pull out keyboard/mouse tray I already bought for it(as my TV at the other end of my bed is dual monitored to my laptop), a full-sized bed box with drawers, and some drawers and shelving for inside the closet. Not much more needed...at least until I get a new place .
