This one took me a while. I tried to get a good camera view from inbetween the mountains. The render time was approx 8hrs~. Went for a eerie green look this time. Did some of the textures of the mountains in photoshop. I hope you like it. Please give me any comments or favs, i'd really appreciate it.Related content

the thing about your works that really attracts me is the intense realism and detail of each one. this one, much like the others, is so beautifully expansive and crisp, i feel like i'm within it.

It doesn't seem fair that someone your age should possess such an abundance of talent and the artistic vision to go with it. I think this is your best wallpaper yet, and I have them all. I shudder to think what you'll be capable of in another five years or so.

I love the textures on the two outside mountains, however, the empty river bed looks somewhat unrealistic, otherwise great, i could never do something like this!

Holy crap! Most terragen renders have a certain look to them, but I really cannot tell with this one. An amazingly surreal and haunting (and green!

not bad at all. the additional photoshop textures are manipulated fairly well although they severely distort the sense of scale. the terrain is ok, although there's some HUGE triangulation issues on the land that need to be removed if you want to make this somewhat more realistic (notice on the river/gorge bank, it's very straightlined and jagged, that's triangulation). To solve that, make sure you've got SO pack installed, and run a "statistical filter" in the terrain dialogue. That'll fix up the terrain jaggies.
Otherwise, still pretty good, perhaps a little too much green (i'd enjoy one or two more colour variations), but good work.

Gorgeous work, though it's really hard to truly appreciate your art when it's so massive. My screen doesn't support that resolution >____< Shrink them please for ghod's sakes... even just a bit....

the picture is qwsome, but the only thing that boders me is where the clouds begin to start. above the sun the begining of the clouds is different. look carefuly and you will see.

Looks good, I like the rock texture and the clouds.
Tho I think the trench bit down the bottom looks too uniform/computer generated.
Maybe make it slope down more instead of having a sudden dropoff, if you want to rerender lol
Anyway, good work, I think I might try out terragen some day soon

Nice Terregan render. The photoshop texturizing is awsome, but the left mountain has to be fixed with the clone tool. If you look, you can see the rectangles, seperating the textures. Still very good job

hey there dude, the photoshop texturing is excelent, really great work! there is a little spork i see, on the right above the cliffs there is a piece of texture floating around, perhaps just an artefact from ps

Yup - I can see those photoshop textures and they rock! The whole piece is stunning, and I think you did a really great job on every aspect of Terragen. The texturing is surreal and beautiful... the grass is delicious... the little bits of fog you added make it dreamy, and the atmosphere and clouds, well, words are lost. Favourite
