It was around 7pm, Sollux was watching one of his favorite Earth movies: The Punisher. When suddenly he heard a knock at his front door, he got up from his couch and to the door. He looked through the peep hole, it was Eridan. He opened the door to see the sea dweller crying. "What the hell happened to you?" He asked.

"I told Fef that I-" He was cut of by Sollux.
"You did what now?" Sollux asked angrily.
"You heard me." Eridan replied.
"Oh my Gog! I can't believe you! How could you do thomething even though you knew you were gonna get turned down?!"
"I never said she rejected me." Eridan said getting all huffy and puffy.
"Dude, you came to MY apartment looking like you jutht got thrown down thome thtairth by thome athholiths who didn't know any better."
"Wwell…" Eridan was at a lost of words. "…Oh cod Sol I knoww, I knoww…" Eridan started crying again. Sol did the only thing he knew to do, he walked over to Eridan and hugged him awkwardly.
"Thhhhh, thhhhhhhh, it'th okay, it'th okay…" Sollux said softly as he petted Eridans hair avoiding his horns.
"Cod damned him and his stupid lisp…" Eridan thought to himself.
Why did Sollux have to be suck a jerk, yet so kind? Eridan pondered about it for a little while then decided to think about it later. He was still crying a bit but he had calmed down after a few minutes and having Sollux hold him was just getting awkward now. "Sol, can you fucken' let go of me now?" Eridan demanded in stead of asked as he tried to squirm away.

"Oh~? Ith that a challenge?" Sollux teased and held onto Eridan tighter.
"Sol, I am not fuckin kiddin, let me the glub go!" Eridan whined but his attempts where in vain as Sollux 'cheated' -as Eridan would like to say- by using his psionics to help hold onto the sea dweller.
Sollux would have to admit, to himself, that Eridans fish-puns were cute, but it was odd to Sollux how he never liked Fefs fish-puns. "Eheheheh nope! Challenege accthepted!"
"Fuck. You. Just fuck you Sol."
"Don't thay thomething you'll never get~" Sollux teased.
Eridan grimaced. "Wwhat-the fuck-ever Sol, like I'd want it from you antwways."
"Oh thhut up Eridan, I tho know youre fluthhed for me~" Sollux teased as he continued to hug Eridan but also started to lean on him.
"Cod damn it Sol! Quit fucken around! I'm serious! Get. Off." Eridan demanded as he started struggling.
"Fine, fine you big whiner." Sollux said as he let go of Eridan then noticed he never said he wasn't flushed for him…maybe Eridan just didn't hear him.

Sollux went back over to his couch. "Well, you can thleep in my bed, I don't uthe it." Sollux said shrugging, it was true ether he passed out on at his desk or passed out on the couch. "Though you don't have to go to bed now if you don't want to."
"No, I do, ivve had a long and stressful day." Eridan said shaking his head.
"I underthtand tho why don't you go get thome thleep.."
Eridan smiled a bit at Sollux uncharacteristic kindness towards him. "…Thanks Sol.."
"Yeah, yeah whatever jutht got get thome thleep." Sollux said as he sat on his couch and shoed Eridan away.
Eridan left and found Sollux bed. He got comfortable in the bed before he quickly fell asleep. He couldn't believe how tired he was and he couldn't believe how nice Sollux was being. Sollux couldn't believe that Eridan was in his hive..in his bed….kind of creeped himself out somehow considering him and Eridan never really were on 'good terms'
