Oh.. hmm.. be patient and practice a lot; when drawing don't put too much pressure on your pencils because this way you can still edit/correct things later on (at least to some degree); test out different brands/types of pencils to see which ones work best for you..
Ah sorry, I'm not really good with giving advice or tips or something. What I do is mostly acting on instinct, can't really say what exactly I'm doing and why. You'd be surprised to see how little actual knowledge I've got..
Good luck though.. hope you'll make some progress soon since this is a really cool medium to work with

The tattoos are rather simple.. considering their rather small size this shouldn't be much of a problem though. And breasts.. *cough* yeah, gave her some unexpectedly large twins
