The Year of Luigi is coming to an end, but sadly Luigi himself has ended.ΒDanny Wells played Luigi on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show in 1989, in live action and animated formats.
He had such ridiculous pasta-based catchphrases such as "Leapin' Lasagna!" and "Miserable Manicotti!".

Yeah, I really enjoyed those live-action segments. I missed these guys already. At least I think they did way better as the bros than Bob Hopkins and John Leguizamo.
