On an off note, a ten-rupee is yellow, right? One is green, five is blue, twenty is red, fifty is purple, a hundred is orange...right?

In Oot, Green is 1, Blue is 5, Red is 20, Purple is 50. Silver is random value, random being one of the prievously listed values. I know this since I've beenΒ playing this game recently. Love the comics!!!

actually i think a silver rupee is 10, the yellow rupee is 200. silver ones are only found when you need to collect a few to get a door open

The original Zelda game, which only had 2-3 different sprites is the ONLY exception to this. Possibly Zelda 2 as well, but other than that, the Zelda games have the same color rupee correspondence with money value.
Green will always be 1
Blue - 5
Yellow - 10
Red - 20

White/Silver (debatable on color) = 200

I never found an orange rupee... not that I remember. And the yellow/golden rupee you got in Ocarina, when you save the spider-father, is 500 for example.
And since I dont intend to pick a fight without a reason, I promise if I ever play again the game with the strange values, I will tell you about that one, so you can confirm it yourself

The rupee values were correct, but that's from Twilight Princess. Yellow rupees and Orange Rupees aren't in OoT.
Here's the values in OoT:
1 - Green
5 - Blue
20 - Red
50 - Purple
200 - Gold (Big Rupee)
