i worked at [link] for several years. i designed the logo. my buddy paul was the art director on the project. this is a logo we didn't use. the concensus was that this version was a bit too 'angry'. especially the one with the faceguard. i still love this design/illustration. done in adobe illustrator. iron monkey interactive rules

no, that's not what open source means, and i do not relinquish any of the copyrights attached to this design. That said, if you have a non-commercial application you'd like to use this for, all you have to do is ask. For a perfect example, look at the comment right above your own

sorry to be so slow on the reply. my old computer was unable to open DeviantArt properly so I have been absent from the site. You do indeed have my permission to use this for your biology club as long as you don't try to make any money from the design (example: sell tee shirts with the logo). Also, please credit me where you use the logo. It can be tiny 7 point type, but where the "TM" would usually go it would be really nice if you placed a "design: Larry DiMaio"

I'm interested in possibly using this logo for a start up motorcycle and hot rod shop. What are the options? I see that you don't own the logo solely. that is a complicated question... i would need to know what it's being used for. also, i would need to know how it is being used (tee-shirts, website, logotype, etc) i was paid by a company to produce it and i am not the sole owner. i need to check with the company that paid me for it. the good news is they are not totally opposed to other uses. the bad news is, i need the info and i need to contact them for permission.
