Description King Leonidas.
Yet another of 300's scenes.
My best work so far I think...

Tools used: Paint Shop Pro 9

Effects used: 1 (emboss, for the shield's small dents);
Textures used: 2: 1 for the shield and helmet, the other for the red cape.
Layers used: 3 (1 for the sketch, 1 for coloring, 1 for the background)
Time took: about 4.5 hours.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Sorry it took so long to answer...

First off, the drawing is made from scratch, with the original picture as reference. That means I've put the original in front of me and began drawing what I saw. Look in my scraps folder ([link] ) to see some steps of its creation.
