Description The logic was a pain, but this is a gif that shows both the opening, and closing of the dry dock. Inside the dry dock are a series of on-rails repair salvos, when a button is pushed they activate and slide down the length of the rail, repairing both ways, and then turn off when they return to their original spot. there is no docking area inside of the dry dock, instead you simply fly you damaged ship onto the area and orient as needed to get repaired

How large is the repair area? Β And can it repair off a blueprint, like a shipyard?

Its roughly 130m long, 65 wide and again that tall. sadly it doesn't repair off a blueprint (yet) it just has astrotech beam arrays that slide up and down the area. WHen they release the Capital Ship update it should add the ability for the fleet capital ship to allow re spawning and give them shipyard function.

Absolutely. I don't want to make these things the capital ship of a fleet though =/ I intend to build a proper CAPITAL ship, these are just the "Swiss army knife of the Neran fleet" as I've been saying.

It seems a bit impractical to have a repair beams though. Β They can't build blocks that have been blown off completely, only add the tiny amount of HP that the individual blocks have. Β Unless your ships have modular armor plates for the hull...
