This is about my AU.
Maybe you're asking why that spider is in the ruins with that thing on it. Well, Alphys created a teleporter to monitor the ruins, and she used one of Muffet's spiders for the job.
Just when Sans was killing some monsters in the ruins, his letter fell off (that he was going to give Muffet before the first genocide route), and the spider saw it, and wanted to give it to Muffet. But when the spider arrived to Alphys' laboratory, it left the teleporter and went to Muffet's cave, to handle the letter.
(and this is how the spider could go from the ruins to Hotland without dying in Snowdin xdd)
