Description
Millions of years ago, Pantala and Pyrrhia were connected. I wondered, what would that look like? So here's my interpretation!Obviously, continents change, grow, shrink, etc. as time passes, so I made adjustments, added islands and more land in some areas. I made Pyrrhia look more like a dragon, its got a more formed head, legs, and tail. I moved stuff around on Pantala as well, so if you compare the maps you'll find that its not an exact match!

However, since I wanted to make this look as accurate to the current maps as possible, I had to heavily reference and trace in some places, so I can't claim all the art as my own. The original artwork belongs to Joy Ang!
Lemme know what you think! I wanted to make them kind of "hugging" each other, and the Pantalan dragon is happier here cuz she loves her gf Pyrrhia. After their separation Pantala is sad and Pyrrhia loses half her face and legs.. welp.. no one ever said divorce was glamorous.Β
I wonder what this supercontinent would be called?

I also had the concept of both continents having been connected once in the geologic past of the planet. However further analysis show that it actually isn't really what we think.
Pantala is actually WAY smaller than Phyrria. Still they could have been connected once, however it wouldn't really look like what you have here and what I had made. It'd be more "India and Gondwana" instead of "Laurasia and Eurasia" like here.

A few million years ago... The lands of Pantala and Pyrrhia were connected, forming a supercontinent called Pogona. The species of dragons living in this continent appeared mostly the same, but as water levels raised dramatically and an asteroid shower that nearly destroyed the planet separatedΒ the continents, the dragons became more secluded.
In Pyrrhia, the dragon "tribes" became even more secluded and evolved to adapt to their environment, forming many tribes. The scavengers/humans in Pyrrhia didn't hide, and formed little villages.
In Pantala, the tribes didn't separateΒ as much and evolved into two main tribes- the LeafWings and SilkWings. (Hivewings didn't come along until Clearsight married Sunstreak and had dragonets.)
After many years, the "lost continents" became myths. Thus is the story of Pyrrhia and Pantala
