What is Super Smash Bros Delta?

Just a project name for a fan project of Super Smash Bros. using a roster of up to 98 fighters. Centered around the idea of a pixel art based fighter that takes some queues from Rivals of Aether to bring a more distinct Smash Bros. experience with mechanics never really tried before. Overtime I may post some conceptual stuff of it but a lot of it is just me spitballing ideas unless someone is up to coding the game. The roster has been mostly decided upon already, with omissions that may seem unusual at first but the main goal was to focus on making the experience more fresh and thus a lot of newcomers are in this. Some newcomers which may at first scratch some heads but that is entirely the point.

Series: Skullgirls

Stage: Maplecrest

This is the start of where I'll probably be making certain fighters that weren't intended to be part of the roster. In this case, I've decided to start things off with Filia who could be in the official roster for Delta but as of now she and some other fighters I might sprite are considered more of a bonus. However, since this is all conceptual work it's totally possible none of this will matter anyways. Anywho, it's Filia who appears in the indie fighting game Skullgirls by Lab Zero Games, using her anything-but-loyal companion Samson to do various attacks using hair... that sounds familiar. Maybe I'll remember in this set of alternates which are all taken from the official game:
