My second photoshop-drawing and my first serious, I'd like to think, Ayden was more for trying it out : DI... really like how she turned out, yesh, and the background is sorta okay, don't tell me that the tree's bad because I know it is xD But I like the grass ~
Narkati is this very old RPlion chara, she's mute (which was totally Mary-Sue-ish, yes? but I won't change her) and therefore totally insecure of herself, but she's really kind (:
I kept changing her xD First she had like, tiger-stripes, then she was albino, then striped legs, and now she's like this. But I think this will be her final design
.. I really like her
And everyone kept calling her Nark xD Gosh, I hated that, because Nark sounds like Knark, which means drugs in swedish x33
I joined the TLKFAA (Lion King Fan Art Archive) recently and that's given me loads of inspiration for drawing my old lion-chars : D Kateya will step forward again, for sure!

They say never to use the photoshop grass/leaf/whatevz brushes, but I think the grass here turned out nice. (: Very cute design - I love the eyes. (:

men ja, gräset. photoshop-brushen använde jag också förut men alla gör det och egentligen blir det inte särskilt snyggt. o.o så kanske du borde ladda ner en ny brush eller göra en egen? o:

HAHA! The first thought in my head when I read the name was "Narkotika." 8) And Nark sounds like "knark." Hehe.
That grass-making tool reminds me - that's how Dragonfree made the grass in the Voice-of-the-forest style! Hehe, it looks really... on-and-on, like, not much variation... But it's better than the random pencil-tool-drags you used for grass before.
Okay, the grass's (I know, according to some, "ss's" is grammatically incorrect - but however, some others think it's alright to use "ss's", so I'll do :3) colour is really savannah-ish, good!
The sky and clouds are really, really good!
The lineart for Narkati is good, but shading - I think you should give the dodge/burn tool a try - it looks much better like that, because this looks really sprite-ish. When you used Paint, I didn't say this, because there wasn't really something you could do about it (if Paint.NET didn't have those lighten/darken tools?). Anyway, here, the cell-shading looks totally out of place.
The tree is decent, but that bright green doesn't really fit to the savanna - try some marsh green-ish colour instead.

x3 I suppose. I'll try to use more variation in colour and make some grass-brushes myself in the future, but until that, allow me to be lazy? : D

I'm not sure if Paint.NET had them but I almost never used Paint.NET to paint in, so.. x3; Hm, I'll try to come up with something, like gradient shading? But that kind of shading, it's totally a habit now o_o I'll try though :3
