As said in my journal, this if the whistle fanart I drew. I guess this shouldn't be considered fanart because I just redrew the cover to volume 4. <___< I was kinda lazy, and didn't want to spend hours throwing pieces of paper with mutilated characters on them into the trash can.

The book wasn't mine, it was borrowed. So I couldn't keep it for long. ; so the hair shading is my own style, make it look sorta awkward. This is my first time shading the hair that guys have that are individual strands coming out from a center. -___- THERE ARE SO MANY, and since each area has to have it's own shading and it's so thin. -_- Daichi's hair looks messed up. I had the folds lineart down, but cause of the dark colors in the original, it's IMPOSSIBLE to find out how you're supposed to shade it. Which is why my folds shading for this is made up and horribble. ;;

Woo. Daichi's a cool character. My claim's still on the awesome Tatsuya though. But, if the guy that Yuki was crossdressing as was a guy.. I'd definetly claim him instead. XD

You guys should all go read Whistle. I'm not a big sports fan, but the art's really cute n'stuff and the plot's very exciting, so it doesn't matter that it's about soccer (which is why you should also read prince of tennis).

used: mechanical pencil (.7) and the eraser that came with it (which was the WORST eraser EVER. it smears everytning T_T)
time: about 2 hours total in the range of the last week or so? (most of it was done on the bus -which is the worst place to draw- or during geometry)

hmm, and I made up the stuff from the shorts down. because the cover didn't include that.. and it looked weird if I didn't include it. -_- and I have NO idea how to draw soccer stuff. so I attempted the sock sorta things they wore, but I stayed clear of the cleats. XD

note. -_- if I didn't make it clear. the girl is Yuki, the guy is Daichi. And well, if you can't tell which one's a girl.. wow...
