My gawd this is clever...did you mess with the contrast/exposure or what?
Did you just increase the whiteness of the top and bottom bits and not edit the middle part, or was the sunlight already so harsh that it didn't require much work on your part?
Whatever the case, it takes a very special kind of mind to not just see the place where the photo was taken, but seeing it how it COULD be once you do a little editing. :]

I love the contrast between the clean, and fancy dressed up brides and grooms and the colorful dirty, grungy backgrounds all of these share.
The photoshoot was a great idea.
