my first attempt at flash! i think it came out fairly well and who doesn't love chocobos right???i gatta learn as much as i can so i can get this job, wish me luck!!
i might have to post more flash stuff on here... so if you do not like this i am sorry, please be patient and i will resume genji and release more character concepts.

The other stuff was alright, but this looks like you tried to make it look worse than it has to be. Just an honest opinion.

Just, for example, the shapes he used for the tail don't really line up, some taper and some are like rectangles, and the claws are a little disproportionate, things like that just give me the overall feeling that it could have been better but that he has gone for a certain style that I don't really like. And no offence taken, I realise that not everyone shares my point of view.

That makes sense. The feathers on the tail I'm sure are meant to taper and use different shapes- just like a normal bird's do, only in a different style. 
Not everyone likes that style, but at least there are so many styles out there for everyone to try! Imagine if the majority of artists in the world on used one style. I think the world would certainly lack the flare that it can have/ does have.
