my friend came over today! she is so awesomei thought it would be good to share techniques so i did a speedpaint demo!!!
she wanted a busy cliff city, subject was lots of fun!

Really cool. Nice work, the grayscale kind of fits it.
You probably used a shaping technique or a particular set of brushes for the buildings, which is fine for pictures like this. My opinion is though to try to put equal detail into that as well, like highlight it and give it a bit of shape if you know what I mean. True, pictures done like this give a sense of uniqueness so it's not necessary, but it would make it come to life a bit more if you know what I mean.

I know you spent like 10x on your steampunk, and the magic forest, but this has so much in it and has plenty to interest the eye esp given the time taken
