Chernabog-71 announced that requesters should save their requests from his gallery before he does some cleaning, so I'm getting this re-posted now so that it can gain views sooner. This picture is soo good that I'm re-posting my comment to describe the quality of it.

"This is one of the most unique requests I have ever received. The way you drew her is completely your own. Not just your style, but the entire composition of this is unlike any other Kokoro picture. She looks more tired and beat down than I've ever seen. Her expression gives off a sense of victory but also loss, like she didn't stop a villain in time before he did something horrible or that she had to kill a friend who was barainwashed turned into a monster. The broken sword is a very nice touch, and really helps sell the notion that the fight that destroyed her armor was one of the most brutal she has ever been in. All of these make this a very powerful image. You did a truly amazing job on this. Thank you so very much for all the hard work you put into this incredible take on one of my greatest OCs.

For those of you who are wondering what she is doing wielding a sword while dressed like this, she’s a female knight I created for the Ghosts N’ Goblins/Ghouls N’ Ghosts/Maximo video game series. In those games you play as a male knight, and when you get hit you lose your armor and will have to fight evil in your underwear (in later games you can take multiple hits before losing your armor, but no matter what game you’re playing you will be seeing a guy in his underwear if you play long enough). I was playing one of those games after I hit puberty, and thought “Do I have to see a guy in his underwear before I die (which happens a lot in those games as they are very difficult)? The least they could do is to give me the option of playing as a woman. Say, that’s not a bad idea…” And thus this character was born. I confess that I would still love to see a game like this as long it was done tastefully; at least, as tasteful as you can be when talking about underwear (i.e no nudity or anything crude, and while the female character will fight in her underwear she will put more clothes on as soon as she can after the battle). I mean, turnabout is fair play right?

Here's Kokoro's story. She is a noble, pure, virtuous and mighty warrior every bit as tough as her male counterparts in the franchise. For years she just aimlessly roamed around the world, vanquishing evil wherever she found it. One day while roaming through a forest a dragon attacked her. She won but was badly wounded. A doctor known as Tadashi stumbled across her as he was looking for some medicinal herbs. He took her home and healed her. As he nursed her back to health, they became friends. They started seeing each other more often and eventually fell in love.

They got married, but barely a week after the wedding disaster struck. Tadashi’s jealous ex-girlfriend Zahia, who he dumped for being mean, showed up. She reveals that she’s become an evil sorceress since then, and kidnaps Tadashi. Now Kokoro wanders the world once again, but this time with a clear goal; to find her husband and slay Zahia. She is still willing to take time out to help people she meets along the way, because that’s what Tadashi would want her to do. Zahia knows this, and will sometimes order her minions to attack people just to slow Kokoro down. But no matter what, Kokoro will never stop until she is reunited with Tadashi.
