More Ryurika/BlueWavesShipping... Yeah, I've been sorta kinda obsessed with this ship lately. This is supposed to be a Snow White AU, in which Erika is the most atypical Snow White (or would it be Marine Blue in this case?) ever, and Ryuho is the prince that finds himself attracted to her free spirit and quirky personality, and starts to court her before she gets sent to the woods and yada yada yada. The reason he's crying is because he found out about the queen's plan to have her eat the poisoned apple, but showed up too late to stop Erika from eating it (which she only actually does because she's being forced to stick to the script).

This whole thing was inspired by this drama CD Ryuho's voice actor, Kakihara Tetsuya, was part of. It's called Yotogibanashi ~ Shirayuki no Shou, and it's supposed to be some kind of "sleep therapy" in which Kakihara plays a wizard who helps you-as-Snow White fall asleep to make the evil queen think you're dead. So, what else can I say about this? Well, Erika's dress was obviously inspired by Makoto's Snow White dress from episode 15 of Doki Doki Pretty Cure (with the collar of the Disney version's dress), while Ryuho's outfit is just his training outfit from episode 55 tweaked to look more princely. Yes, I know the background looks crappy -- backgrounds were never my strongest suit. And no, Ryuho isn't groping her, he's just holding her by the hip to keep her secured.
