I wish I had gotten to publishing this early, but Easter was crazy, and it was also my Birthday at the time. So, if you missed out on this, just try them out next year.
So, in 2012, I was introduced to Chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs, little milk chocolate concealed in sugar coats resembling eggs. These things really bring out the ovovore in me (I feel like a monitor lizard, retro-oviraptor or cuckoo bird). So, every Easter (call me crazy, but I don't care), I hoard lots of bags of these chocolate delicacies, harvesting them after Easter at half price. And then, in 2014, I wondered what would happen if I baked them in brownie batter.
Just mix up your traditional Betty Crocker Brownie Mix, or Pillsbury Brownie mix, or whatever... it really doesn't matter. Mix the cadbury eggs in afterward (Don't pour them in until the batter is thoroughly mixed, or you'll taste oil and actual egg yolk in them, bleh) and then pour them into a brownie pan, disposable or metallic (again it doesn't matter), and once the brownie mixed is fully baked and cools off, enjoy the taste.
There's just no way to describe how good these treats are. They look amazing and the texture of the eggs change.
How incredible would it be if the company behind Cadbury Eggs made actual brownies with Cadbury Eggs baked in them?
