Description More Naga stuff, as I imagine them existing in the world of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" by and "Where the World Ends" by

===

Nagas are a race of sentient serpent-like creatures native to the thick swampy jungles of Primus that's capable of using a small degree of elemental-based magic. The nagas are naturally intelligent, quick, and agile, which has led some of them to be very capable thieves and assassins. However, due to their ability to breath underwater, they are also very capable of fishing and their intuitive understanding of the natural world (as well as their immunity to most diseases and poisons) has lead some to be fairly capable alchemists. Most races distrust and even fear them due to their unnerving physical appearance and their hard-to-read facial expressions, but they seem to be very well liked by the Tapiri.

===

Here I tried to draw a couple of different Nagas in order experiment in how the minor differences of facial markings and face tendril things. The one on the left is wearing a hood, and I have to admit that the idea looked better in my head (drawing a snake wearing a hood is very difficult, and it must be tough to keep anything like that on without shoulders). The one on the right is wearing a traditional, light-weight armor that I tried to model off the dragonscale armor from "Skyrim" (trying to draw that without reference was obviously a mistake), as well as an imposing tail-blade.

Wow! Your headcanon is completely different from what I have! In my idea, I described the Nagas as 'the race of the world's greatest empire'. They are conquerors and have more advanced technology than the Ponies.

They had already travel in space and secretly colonized in Equestria (Or Uchchaihshravas as they called it). They had arrive in Equestria and colonized in the underground beneath the Ponies,

digging into the underground for oil and copper.  And most of it, they saw the Ponies are blood-thirsty savages that will kill them and eat them.

Yeah, though I've recently been re-thinking my whole headcanon thing about the Nagas lately.  I believe I'm going to transfer the more Argonian/lizardfolk-like traits over to Kobolds, and remaking the Nagas as something more cultured, powerful, and reclusive.

In my headcanon, they were look very Indian. The Ponies have the culture that is mixture between Ancient Greece and Medieval Spain. So the Nagas have the culture that is mixture between Hindu Myth and Malagasy Myth.

And While the Ponies are the peaceful race. The Nagas are the warriors and conquerors. They took over the whole continent that they live and enslave the other race called Vanaras, the Humanoid Monkeys to be their

slaves to create the houses, temples and statues of their Gods because they lost to them in the compete of the conquest to take over the continent between the Vanaras and the Nagas.

Personally, I've always hated Western culture's tendency to villainize snakes and other reptiles.  Sure, they're DIFFERENT from mammals, but that doesn't make them EVIL.  In most ancient cultures, snakes were revered as guardians of the wisdom of the Earth (some believed that a snake's hissing was them whispering ancient and powerful secrets) and as symbols of immortality and rebirth (due to how they shed their skin, going from kinda dead-looking to shiny and new).  Hell, in the original Hindu myths Nagas are depicted as mostly good-natured beings, with one particular story that tells of how a Naga king used its cobra-like hood to shield Buddha from rainstorms while he was meditating under a tree.

My revised headcanon will contain both elements described in "It's a Dangerous Business, Going Outside Your Door" and the original Hindu myths, depicting the creatures as massive serpentine demigods (roughly 30-50ft long & 3ft thick at the middle) with ivory scales, golden fangs, a cobra-like hood, flattened faces and glowing forward-facing eyes that can LITERALLY stare into your soul.  Intimidating as they are, they are actually quite peaceful and polite to visitors that keep their manners (not to mention they make a great Red Chai Tea) but they are also very reclusive, preferring to stay in their vast subterranean/ underwater cities (which are probably made of gold).  Nagas have the ability to read and manipulate the life energy of Qi, with their most notable skills being  the ability to "read the soul" of others (meaning they can accurately tell mood, general intent, and whether or not your lying), STARE others into submission, and launch luminous "fire balls" (which aren't actually made of fire) from their mouths.  Naga Fireballs are often seen shooting into the sky from rivers at a certain time every year (which coincides with an important Naga festival/ holiday).  Nagas have but one fear: the Garuda (known more commonly by other races as Rokhs or Thunderbirds), a species of massive bird-like Draconoform (creatures including Wyverns, Komagas, Behirs, Drakonwyrms, and Basilisks that aren't exactly true dragons but are still kinda related to them) that prey upon anything large and serpentine.  Some legends claim they know a lot of ancient things, including the true location of Bai-Ze the Prophetic lost library and the recipe for the Elixer of Life, though they very rarely tell anyone these secrets.

I already known about that. I just want something that not yet appear in MLP:FIM. And both, Hindu and Malagasy cultures do not yet be use in it

and I also want the the race of the empire that are warriors that are high way more powerful and have more advance technology than the Ponies and see them as nothing but blood-thirsty savages.

I have no choice but the Nagas are the perfectest to this. (Including them being so popular in many modern cultures.). But my story is based off from Pocahontas.

So there is a one or few Nagas that refuse to believe that the ones that cute as Ponies (As they called them the Keshi) can be the blood-thirsty savages that will eat them.

And for the reason why the Nagas see the Ponies as savages because they arrive at the same time that the Ponies had found Equestria. The Nagas saw them have no care in another genus of them

and judge them directly as lower beings and savages. The Nagas hide the secret colonies of them in the underground for the thousand of years in order to digging for oil and copper.

The armored one came off really well and look surprisingly natural on the Naga! As for the hooded one on the left, maybe have it covered his entire head and show a gaping hole would suffice.
Nicely done again!
