Biography: One of the few daikaijuu to be placed in the Placid category, Bajwara is a benevolent monster from the Southeast. He is an herbivorous creature (a rarity among giant monsters) and spends most of his time wandering the savannahs and sparse woodlands of his home. He does not fear other monsters, but prefers to avoid conflict with them all the same; in general he steers clear of any kaiju he perceives as a threat.
While primarily a land animal, Bajwara is a proficient swimmer and can hold his breath underwater for nearly a day. This is a seldom seem behavior, though, as the only large body of water near his territory is the ocean, over three hundred miles away. A much more commonly displayed talent is his aptitude at digging. Though not suited for true burrowing or a subterranean lifestyle, Bajwara is capable of moving large amounts of dirt with his claws and giant, shovel-like bill. In fact, he is such a prodigious digger that he often takes literal dirt naps, burying himself under the ground to sleep.
Being such a mild-mannered kaiju, it is no surprise that Bajwara has never come into conflict with the Alliance. He has actually become something of an ally to the group, lending aid to Theraga and the other guardian monsters in times of trouble. And while not exactly intimidating, Bajwara is pugnacious to say the least, far more formidable than his appearance suggests.
Though short, his limbs are quite muscular, and the claws they wield are good for tearing through more than just dirt. Bajwara can also use his bill, heavy as it is, to intercept melee attacks and bludgeon other monsters. Likewise, with such a large mouth, his bite is something to be feared. His teeth, though intended for tough vegetable matter, can inflict grievous wounds and are quite large (and sharp) for an herbivore.
Additionally, he is aided by the numerous quills covering his back. Each of these hardened spikes is poisonous, coated with a layer of bacteria that causes a burning sensation when introduced to the bloodstream. While the defensive ramifications of this are obvious, they can also be used offensively during certain circumstances. For example, one of Bajwara’s favorite tactics is to lie in wait under the ground and spring up when an enemy is overhead: surprising his foe with a toxic bed of nails beneath their feet.

Trivia: Bajwara is easily distinguished by his strange, cackling call. As an onomatopoeia it is written as “WAHG GWAK-GWAK-GWAK-GWAK!”.
