I think this might be a record for me! I just started this last night and am finished!This is for =Insector-Hagako who requested a Yami x Yugi picture, and this idea popped into my head. I really liked the idea, so I really tried to make this more detailed than my usual pieces (I actually did a back ground by hand!). This was a big challenge for me because I am terrible with lighting, and had several light sources on this one. I think it turned out decently though!
I used a reference from some of my books for the column design, but I was too lazy to copy all the hieroglyphs, so I just used random letters. As for the items, I tried to use items that were valued by the ancient Egyptians, like Yugi's lapis-lazuli necklace and the leopard skin blanket. But of course, I went off Takahashi's design for Atemu
Also, the title means "Beloved Pharaoh" in ancient Egyptian

You finished in such a short amount of time and yet your attention to detail is amazing! I love the background, especially the columns! Your lightening affect is...WOW. I love the way it reflects off their bodies (I don't really know how to do that <_< >_>
The way you have them posed, and their expressions is simply lovely! You do the best couple pictures in my opinion!

Thanks! I wasn't sure if I liked the lighting on the hair, but I am glad you like it! The columns did take a bit to line, but it helps when you know the basic hieroglyphic alphabet so you can just draw them in quickly
