The Stronsay Beast was a globster that washed up on the shore of the Orcadian island of Stronsay in 1808. It had a long neck, grey skin, bristles on its back, and six limbs. Many claimed at the time that it was a new species of animal, while others have suggested it to be a decomposing basking shark, like the Zuiyo-maru carcass.
