Description
According to this plan, initially created in 1898 and then revisited in 1913 as a way to improve Anglo-German relations, the whole of the Portuguese colonial empire would be partitioned amongst Germany and Britain mainly. In exchange for Germany gaining the bulk of Angola, they would let Britain build and operate a railroad through their Tanganyka colony in order to connect Cape Town and Cairo.
Britain would get:
-Mozambique south of the Zambezi river and lands inmediately south of Rhodesia and Nyasaland.
-Portuguese India
-Macau
-Timor-Leste
-Easternmost Angola
-Cape Verde
Germany would get:
-Mozambique north of the Zambezi river
-Most of Angola, Cabinda included
-São Tomé and Príncipe
In order to carve the rest of the empire, France would get Portuguese Guinea and their fort in Porto Novo (not in the map), while Belgium would gain the northeastern corner of Angola.

And thanks for having clarified me about these Anglo-German agreements, I did not know that it was planned to divide the whole empire, I thought it was only Angola and Mozambique.
And just one question, are you planning to make a map about the portuguese expansionist levels? Just like you did for Spain and France?

I was actually planning to do a map like that for Portugal, yes.
We usually describe English here as "Allies which is better not to have many like".

No the plan was to pretty force Portugal into debt to the point they would become forced to sell the colonies to pay off their debt

I can't exactly remember, but if I recall, they were going to use loans or something like that.

No war was ever mentioned in the plan, probably the colonies would have been purchased. Anyhow, I made a mini-scenario about a possible war which I may upload soon as a journal.
