They take a military Jeep. Ghidorah chases them

It decapitates Ghidorah, but his heads keep regrowing with each blast.Β Legendary Godzilla then unleashes a particularly powerful blast of atomic breath that completely obliterates all three heads and the torso, and burning the wings.

She bows before Godzilla, as well as the other kaiju, as Godzilla roars out.
A few years pass, we see Miki with a young boy sitting on her lap.

Miki: After the kaiju bowed to their king, Godzilla then returned to the sea, knowing his duty is done, he knew the Earth was safe, but he and his allies will be ready. Should Ghidorah return, Godzilla will be ready.
Erik: And where is Godzilla now?

Miki: Deep in the sea, waiting.
Erik senses Godzilla waking up. Β In space, Ghidorah creates a new body, in the form of the DOE incarnation. Β Elsewhere, Admiral Gyozen and Yuki meet a mysterious man.
Seller: It was blasted off in the battle, and we know it will cost a fortune. Β It will change what we know about Godzilla, maybe give us an edge against him should he attack humanity.
They see a piece of Godzilla's spine that was severed by Maelstrom Ghidorah.
