Troodon Zord and Epidexipteryx Zord escaped Mesosaur, and escaped to Earth, but Mesosaur and his goons followed them and soon set their sights on destroying Earth.

As for Mesosaur here, power hungry dinosaur/human hybrid, wanted nothing more than world destruction, which lead to the down fall of the Neo Terra (pretty much how Cybertron was destroyed), Troodon Zord and Epidexipteryx Zord opened a portal that leads to another world carrying the surviving Neo Dino Eggs, but the eggsΒ became scattered across the world upon arriving.

Yeah, Troodon and Epidexipteryx Zords were the first to arrive on Earth, but the Neo Dino Eggs were scattered across the globe in certain locations. Send the main heroes on a globe trotting mission, finding their main zords.
