I'll have to try to be more original but the ideas are lacking ;_; Anyway, I noticed a lack of art for Fire Emblem 12, aka New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of light and darkness. Shouldn't be surprised but I can't be the only one who played it, right? ^^' Here's a Katarina. I like her design and I always felt sorry for her character
The only tears she should cry are tears of joy, so here's some happy art for her :3

Good news, you're not the only one who played it. And I still do it from time to time (Lunatic Reverse was madness to clear unscathed, though).
I agree, poor girl went through such hell, I just wanted to jump on her and give her a big hug (And I would have if I was inside my avatar's character XD). Even with those tears she looks so pretty I want to hug her right now. Nicely done.

So glad to hear it ^^ It's such an underrated game unfortunately. Well considering Shadow Dragon's poor success, it's to be expected.
Glad you like the drawing, it's a personnal favorite for me (mainly because Katarina has so much of my favorite color on her x3) but it's the least noticed drawing ironically

Yeah, I guess it didn't help that Shadow Dragon actually FORCED us to break the "golden rule" in Fire Emblem. Instead of pushing us to get everyone to make it out alive as per the tradition, it forced us to actually SACRIFICE them. And that was really annoying (I didn't feel guilty for using an unbreakable weapon cheat to spam the Aum Staff once I was past all of the Gaiden chapters).
Quite sad indeed. Katarina is a personal favorite of mine, due to her backstory and personality, and she's quite useful once you manage to get her back on your side. Speaking of which, I wrote a small story with her and the Avatar. Would you like to read it?
