I've been recording the various symbols from a number of dreams for the past 5 months. Here's what I've got so far.I've taken both sheets to a buddy of mine who's part of the Kansas Anthropological Society to try to identify some of these. On this page there were a 5 positively identified as Thebeian, 1 Egyptian, and 1 Mandarin. One symbol beared a striking resemblance to the Merkstave of the Norse rune "fehu", another quite close to the Norse rune "odal", two more were thought to be some sort of Egyptian hieratic, 2 closely resembled Gaelic symbols, 3 or 4 appear to be from pre-unified Japanese calligraphic styles. The rest are unidentified.

I had the same dream of these symbols (and a few other unidentified ones) ON MY FLIPPIN' BIRTHDAY AND THE BLUE MOON!!!!

For awhile I rented a house with two other people that could actually read one of the symbol languages that I had dreams of. It was weird getting corrected on a few of the extraneous serifs my brain often added.

Once I lost something, I had a dream and I heard a voice saying "look under"
I looked under some stuffs and I found it XD
It was like a message from god or something lol XD

How familiar were you with Theban script before you had this dream? I committed the Theban alphabet to memory and that's what a number of these are.

I've only figured this stuff out through research, help, and happenstance.

I've had several dreams involving dead and foreign languages. I've pinned down ~35 different forms between written and spoken, though I'm certain there is some overlap. Those dreams are one of the reasons I started watching Stargate SG-1, they often have lots of ancient scrawl and I often recognize bits and pieces of it. The other reason is that I'm a sci-fy nerd.

It's always freaky when they're accompanied with voices in the language.

I've been trying to learn Norse (online dictionaries are all somewhat limited). And it seems that the dreams with Elder Futhark (Norse Runes) match up between the words spoken and the symbols appearing.

this is amazing- i dream rather vividly as well but whenever i see something that seems important in a dream.. i end up forgetting it, or only remember fragments of its feeling or meaning. maybe one day you will see what they are trying to tell you. <3

Yes. Only once in a while will I know what any of them mean.
If you search my gallery with the words "symbol", "runes", or "dreams" you'll see the other deviations with more symbols from my dreams. Some are specific sequences.

That would be the Thebeian. That also happens to be something pointed out to me when I consulted him on the origins of the various symbols.
