Description Disclaimer: I realized that the covering of protofeathers i my reconstruction is rather unlikely, as other small ornithischians like Psittacosaurus were mostly covered in scales. Heterodontosaurus probably was a bit more scaly than my version.

Taxonomy: Dinosauria - Ornithischia - Heterodontosauridae
Length: About 120 - 130 cm
Weight: About 3.7 - 4.9 kg

Heterodontosaurus was a small dinosaur from the early Jurassic of South Africa. Its name ("different-toothed lizard") comes from their unusual canines in their upper and lower jaws. Heterodontosaurus was likely herbivorous, although it could also have been omnivorous.

I painted it almost fully covered in protofeathers, althought it is not known how many of them it actually had, if any.

Tianyulong and Kulindadromeus, which are much closer in size to Heterodontosaurus were covered in dense feathers/filaments/dinofuzz.

Ah, I just read Tianyulong was a heterodontosaurid... that would indeed make a covering of protofeathers in Heterodontosaurus more probable...
