Description Hey! long time no see. i don't have much to tell you guys. i've basically been playing around with my sketchbook work, which is how this came out, i'm not happy much, since i wanted to give it a paintery feel, then when i didn't know what the heck i was doing, this came out.

Simply put, this is a great frame/panel that's functions as both a successful narrative and pin-up piece. You just KNOW some shit went down before he reached the bottom of those stairs. Shit that we don't need to see, but shit. Went. Down. And he stays lookin' badass even after it did. Thumbs up, Daniel.

Peace.

aww thanks, man. This is a drawing in which I can still appreciate the composition, even though the actual finishing details aren't to my liking now-a-days

love the lighting and composition- the way you can follow the light directions and stairs down to the Punisher, and his face shadowing is cool! Very strong atmosphere... I wouldn't want to be in that stairwell... no ho ho.
Since you used airbrush for highlights, I think it'd also be great for accentuating the background dark areas too, on top of the layered paint strokes there. Great man!

try this as an experiment on the walls area. make a new layer on this. choose a dark brown and a mid yellow/orange as ur colors. make the wall area the darker of the two colors. now choose add noise. then fade it to where u want it. this is one simple way. the other way is to do it manually with a brush.

This could be the only time the bloom effect has been used well in a drawing. Well done, as usual. I like the way you handled the lighting and the smoke.
