I finally got hold of a functioning copy of photoshop and this was the test that I did to see how it ran. i got a little carried away with it, but I think the end result was pretty nice. Hope you guys have a good summer, it would appear that I've officially graduated.-Daniel
EDIT: I fixed somethings that were irking me from the original and now I think it works better. Hope the other one doesnβt get reblogged too much.

So refreshing to see new artwork that features Comics-Widow as opposed to Movies-Widow. Not that the movies aren't great, but it never hurts to get back to one's roots, right?
VEEEEERY nice job with the shading and coloring on this one! It TRULY looks like a night-time shot and REALLY helps convey that Widow's probably assassinating somebody right now! The scene has such a great eerie calm to it that Widow is always waste-deep in with her missions. You say you went overboard with Photoshop, but I say you used it to its fullest potential!
I also LOVE how you handled the wrinkles and folds in Widow's suit; it looks just like in the comics! The brick wall came out a little less spectacular, but every other detail came out very nicely!

thank you! i appreciate the thorough analysis of the picture. yeah, i could have dealt with the wall a bit better but for a sketch-painting it was becoming too much of a hassle.
