in psychology today we discussed watson's idea of the mind as a tabula rasa - blank slate.it seems to fit this series of mine, so that's what i'm calling it now.
ps: these are the slides which i took at the same shoot of "sandy point". they turned out horrible, i know, but i think they at least have more character than the digital shots.

i love the images and i love how the ideas stirring around your mind mold how you perceive your art. i used to do the same thing when i was at uni.

This is fucking amazing, seriously. How did you overlap them, photoshop? Love the composition of all of them together, the amazing colours and how they're faded.. kind of like trying to grasp ont o something, trying to find some sort of meaning.. peaceful chaos...

actually, the overlapping is due to what i like to call "a fucked up camera which doesn't wind properly". it double exposed at places and didn't expose at all in other places. and i used an 'oktomat' camera which is basically eight frames actionsampler - so the overlapping looks even more bizarre. thanks for liking it so much, but really it's just one big accident
