I'm usinf just an "F" and "B" pencil for the skin, and afterwards some softer ones for the shadows

Im sorry if im getting waaaaay "questiony" but is it a matter of slowly applying even pencil strokes close together and then blending a little at a time? Your style is what i wish mine to be one day. =]

just look in my scarps, there you can see a step by step of my drawings.
And yes, I slowly apply the F pencil with some strokes, then blend with the tissue, apply some more, blend again... and so on, and so on, until I finally apply a very soft pencil, and blend again
