Description
Syd is a neerian, an otter-like race from the oceanic paradise world called Crucible. She grew up care-free and happy, yet lacked any good academic traits so she resorted to the mercenary life when she turned 18. Syd learned very quickly that she was exceptional at both lethal and non-lethal takedowns (think Deus Ex) and served as a private body guard for some of the richest war-mongers in Solaris for years. But eventually she lost interest in that, and resumed the mercenary life.

Syd's highest paying and most dangerous mission was the assassination of pluuvian dictator-militant Lazarus Kolomaan, who was entrenched in a relic of a decrepit cliff side castle, surrounded with nearly 5 miles of minefield, barbed wire and guard posts. Syd lead a small strike team in towards the back while the main force kept the defenders occupied. All was going well until the team hit a stray and unaccounted for minefield, and Syd lost a good portion of her lower body.

She woke up, seemingly decades later in a high tech hospital on the sprawling cyber city NeoDelia. Her body had been replaced with a high-quality military grade cyborg chassis, donated by an anonymous company. Syd embraced her new figure with caution, 'fore she knew cybernetic parts aren't the best idea so early in their development in Solaris, but its not like she had much of a choice. After all, she never asked for this; but she uses her inhuman strength and reflexes much to her advantage. Her horrific accident never stopped her from continuing her career path, and to this day remains one of the most prestigious assassins to grace her galaxy.
