I got it from a middle-eastern food store. It's a lambs heart. (though I wish I could take credit and say it was my own.)

Hey I did some stock similar to this a little while back on , just curious, did you have to stitch yours back together before you shot it? Our butcher really went to town on mine and left us to suture the hell out of it to make it even look like a heart lol. Anyways nice stock. You could almost crop it and soften the detail for a rather "intimate" portrait.... good job

nope, mine was whole when I bought it.. I actually purchased it from a Middle-Eastern Food market, it was frozen so I had to wait for it to thaw- not the most pleasant smell. It was a lambs heart.
