Wonderful use of light, angle, & crosshatching in ink.
Sometimes I'd read books just because of great drawings ;

Oh. Oh my gosh. This is really quite beautiful. The shading depth is lovely and the character pose is believable and in the places where the blocking is crooked, it is only in ways which can be written off in the Watsonian as being part of an actual room. And your crosshatching - strong shadows without being overworked. I've always liked the look of the ink prints in some older illustrations, this is right down my alley, the rightness of it is almost a little bit intoxicating.
