well the effects are looking good, and so is your texturing, if you keep working on this, they will evolve into way better layouts. That takes a while though, im not saying give up on the other style, work on that too. But I just really see this style going somewhere.

really haha awesome, I'll keep practicing on both styles :3
I look at others layouts and not so much copy, or anything but like sort of like use them as inspiration you know :3

blending, textures, some brushes and what not.

yea hehe, to me though it seems like the newer style I tried out looks better than just my blog, texture layouts. theres only so much you can do to them on an image without making it look cluttered and what not personally I think so.

With full page, other style you have more room to use space and what not. Also using transparent pngs are a lot like prettier looking and what not iuno haha XD
