This is a piece I submitted (but sadly didn't win anything for) for the Scholastic Art and Writing competition. Unfortunately there is a terrible glare because when I matted it I put a plastic cover over it to keep it from getting smeared. Plus the piece was so large I couldn't scan it, so my crappy old camera had to do...

For a reference I used a picture of two of my friends doing a swing dance move called Falling Angel. Appropriate, right? The dress, wings, hair, etc.; I did all from my brain... It was my first piece using charcoal, and at that large of a scale, so I was very proud of it.
