"amazing" is an understatement for this. The whole thing fits together really well. The only thing I want to say about it is this: Maybe add a few more colors? The rusty red/orange tone is seen throughout the whole thing, and I feel that adding a bit of other colors would make all the difference. Of course, I'm not saying to remove the whole copper color theme, I'm just suggesting adding a bit more color to the character's face or the background. And the sword cuts his leg off in an odd way, if you ask me. Otherwise, it's absolutely amazing!

Few words can capture the essence of this, and I can't think of them. Now, I don't know what kind of impact you were going for, but the best word that comes to my mind is "brooding." I don't really see any flaws to point out about it, but nothing really jumps out at me at the same time.
I love this picture, do not mistake me, but there's nothing here that really makes me go "HOLY F*** THAT'S AWESOME." It's simple, but there's nothing wrong with being simple. The kind of pose the character adopts and the foreboding shadow behind him is a standard pose for many characters, and there's nothing wrong with that, and the amount of details you put into the background and character make it more than just a copy: it's an enhancement.
Now, I don't know what kind of appeal you were going for, and the best word i can think of for this picture is brooding. If you were going for something more like "domineering," "powerful," or "imposing," it falls short. But I don't know what you're going for so I can't fault you for that. I think if you had gone for that kind of approach, it would have had a greater impact on the viewer, but that's just my opinion.
Nice touch with the Reaper Grimm: keeping it simple with only the skull and his hands shown and a robe to cover his body leaves more to the viewer to imagine what is there and creates a more personal connection with the photo to those that enjoy this picture. Comments on the OC are irrelevant to the critique except for details and feeling exhibited by character, but that would be more accurate if an understanding of the character was had.
Overall, I love the picture: there's nothing here that makes me want to jump out of my seat, but it's a great picture. I think if you had the Reaper Grimm be imposing and threatening rather than a passive and preparatory stance, there would have been a bit more impact.

OMG The Reaper Grimm is terrifying! I love the detailed face design and the cloaked details.
I also love the detail of the blade as well as the Huntsmen design, and the colours was pretty good!

Alright. I've taken a good long look at the price chart and the art you've done before, and I'm wondering: are all commissions meant to be RWBY-related? Is it mandatory, or just what you enjoy and therefore have the most inspiration for? What are your feelings on drawing OCs or characters from other franchises? What about combining characters from franchises? I've seen your RWBY-Halo stuff (which is gorgeous), but would you have ever considered an art piece in which Ruby met the Master Chief? Hypothetically, I mean.

Ok screw it. I need to finish designing one of my OC's because I need something this awesome drawn of him. I already know what I want him to be, I just haven't drawn him myself yet. Or at least come up with a finished design.
