It is easy all ya have to do is google search: splatter brushes photoshop - & some free downloads will pop up. Download & then they are right there ready for your enjoyment. That is the easiest way to get your hands on 'em.
As far as edges, you mean the edges of your paper? This particular one I didn't do much of anything with- the others I just went over the edges with different opacities to give them a water color paper type look. Not sure if that is what u r looking for but hope it helps?

Thank you. CS3 all the way, with a Cintiq 12wx. How about you? I love, love, love your color theory and use of textures!

thanks!! you do? cs3? well me to, but i found your work to be a little more complicated than mine, im pretty basic, i color on photoshop mostly, and im behind a 12 wx too!! those tablets rule, do they come with brushes for photoshop? i havent seen anything remotely similar to what you use on the net.

Yeah the tablet is incredible! I just use the brushes that come with photoshop, I mess with the brush presets to get textured edges. I almost always have on shape dynamics, scatter, and sometimes wet edges for watercolor effects. Try searching for neat looking splatter images on the internet and turning them into brushes. Been doing that a lot lately.

Ruined is a pretty big exagerration. It\'s actually really good looking. I\'d prefer more dark tones, but the colors actually work very well with the lines, a kind of Darwyn Cooke/simplistic style, very golden/early silver age like, but with some modern sensibilities. It\'s very good.

Thank you for that. Guess I am still such a noob that I'm a little self-conscious.

I really like it. The colors are great. You kinda washed out a little of Supes right elbow shadow, but everything else is fabulous.

Agreed with the above comment, it's a nice palette. I've always liked Superman with the more subdued blues and reds.
