If you have already seen the later trailers to Toy Story 4, then you have already seen who the main antagonist will be. Her name is Gabby Gabby with a gang of voiceless ventriloquist dummies who look a lot like Slappy from "Goosebumps" which makes it all the more creepier, not to mention that her goal is to steal Woody's voice box so she can finally be loved by a child after spending decades living in an antique store due to a defect that prevented her from ever being loved and adopted, growing bitter and resentful toward other toys that were adopted by other children while she had to watch the outside world from behind the store window.

The good news is that we don't have to deal with another cliché twist villain with little background, screen time, or motivation. This time Gabby is presented as an official villain. In the Toy Story world, we already learned that neglection, abuse, abandonment, and being tossed away like yesterday's garbage can twist and taint the heart and mind of any toy that has dealt with such things that they can never be the same as they were ever again. It happened with Prospector when he was unwanted and unsold all his life, scared of aging away into nothing while Lotso was forgotten and replaced. Now we find out how being unwanted and unloved due to her defect took a heavy toll on Gabby.
