Here's Nichelle as she is reading the little note I wrote for her.

It said:
"To Nichelle Nichols,
For God has blessed you to be the Loveliest Lady of the Galaxy and Beyond.
Your beauty and charm had opened my eyes to a whole new realm of art.
So, I give you this drawing as my way of thanking you, along with all my love, respect, and prayers to you and your family.
Live Long and Prosper,
Andrea Avrett."

I must've touched her heart because she thanked me a lot.
I can admit, I was a little embarrassed because I can say that my handwriting stinks because she had to ask the guy next to her, her son, to help read it. Although it was also probably because of her condition as well, but either way, she was still thankful for the drawing and the note.
