I don't see what's so bad about it. Wigs ensure that every one of the characters' friends have hair the right color, and that it's perfectly styled. If Disney forced their cast members to cut and dye their hair all the same colors, there would be some serious legal issues going on there.
Also, some character hairstyles are quite difficult to pull off with natural hair. I wish I could've gotten a wig for my costume, but it's out of my budget.

yes i do understand why they use wigs. i was thinking like if they just used somebody whose hair was already that color. like lets say the person who is portraying sleeping beauty has blond hair they could just style their hair the same way as the wig. i just think it makes the characters more authentic i guess.
but the wigs do save time and they wouldnt come undone in the duration of the day like regular hair would. so i guess i would choose wigs too. i just dont like the wigs when they look like there is too much hair for the persons head. i have seen pictures of meg and i think the hair just doesnt match her body, there is just too much hair.

Your costume is very well made! It looks VERY much like Wendy's! I really could only tell you apart because of the hair. Peter should look more flattered, I think, having two lovely ladies trying to kiss him! But alas, he's such a kid-at-heart, he was probably afraid of cooties! Haha!

Yeah, I had the hardest time finding a costume for that very reason. I'm working at a kids event on halloween so its not really the occasion to be sexy. I was going to look for a blue nightgown, but just ran out of time.
How was the trick or treat party anyways? I wanted to go, but wasn't sure if it was mostly a kids thing or if adults get to participate. Maybe I'll go next year.

It's fun. Disney never makes things kids-only at the parks, that's just not their deal. It's family fun, so there's something to enjoy for everyone.

There are lots of characters to meet, lots of candy go get, and several dance stages open. They also leave quite a few rides open, and since it's a separate-ticket event, not as many people are in the park so the lines for rides are pretty short.
