Description
In the alicorn world, Dark Fire reports to Opaline Arcana about the New Heart disappearing despite his efforts to find it. He clarifies that the rainbow angels haven’t found the object either and leaves to continue his mission.

At Rainbow Junior High, Dark Fire orders Twilight Sparkle to continue searching for the rainbow angels. After seeing Rainbow Sparkle in the hall and crossing her out as a rainbow angel, they soon stumble across Lily and go to follow her.

Later that day, Lily is seen walking outside when she comes across her friend Rei taking care of young children. As the two are talking and watching the kids, Twilight Sparkle is seen spying on Lily from on top of the hill. Calina catches her staring at Lily, assuming she has gotten over Rainbow Sparkle. She then leaves in a hurry denying having feelings for Lily.

Calina tells Lily and Rainbow Sparkle about the incident with Twilight Sparkle, thinking that she has fallen for Lily in spite of her devotion to Leo. She then changes the subject to Rei and tells the girls they’re going to volunteer the upcoming Saturday to help take care of the kids at the nursery school that day since the staff is low.

A few days later, the girls arrive at the nursery school and are introduced by Rei to the children. They all try to take care of the kids, but find the task to be more difficult than they anticipated from their behavior, including Misty Brightdawn who’s taken by the children.

As the girls continue to watch the kids, they hear Leo enter the building and go to spy on him when he goes to chat with Rei. The girls note their interactions and worry the two could be in love. Rainbow Sparkle then recounts seeing Leo a few days ago with Rei sharing an umbrella with him. Shield Wing approaches the girls and sees Leo and Rei inside, complementing his lack of time being around girls while making the girls even more panicked.

As the three tend to the children once again, Leo walks into the room commending the girls for helping out Rei. They note his fondness for the children and try to impress him by tending to the kids. Lily then goes up to Rei and asks what her relationship is with Leo, but is soon interrupted by one of the kids. The girls are then seen imagining about having a child with Leo, including Rainbow Sparkle who imagines Shield Wing instead and flusters her.

As Rei calls the children to eat their snacks, Twilight Sparkle is seen with Dark Fire outside the nursery school feeling the hope and love from inside the building. She warns him not to endanger the children, but the alicorn remains unphased and goes out of her body to remind her the contract. Dark Fire then summons the alicorn Young Foal to go cause trouble.

Young Foal finds the child Tommy in the school and encases him inside a bubble. Misty Brightdawn warns the girls of the child missing and soon find him and the alicorn outside. The three promptly transform into the rainbow angels. Young Foal then traps the angels in the bubbles and proceeds to blow them around.

Twilight Sparkle is seen running away from the nursery school and into town, disobeying Dark Fire’s orders. Hope uses Blue Stardust, freeing the girls from the bubbles. Creative uses Purple Dreaming to disorient the alicorn. Rainbow absorbs Young Foal’s attack with the Red Crystal and purifies him. Tommy falls from the broken bubble and is caught by Creative in a close call.

The girls return back into the building, explaining they were playing outside. Calina soon gets angry at Leo and Rei together and blurts out what his relationship is with her. To the girls’ relief, they explain that Rei had lent her umbrella to Leo with her boyfriend and he dropped by to repay the favor.

Now raining, the three offer to share an umbrella with Leo, but he walks off with Shield Wing instead. It’s then that Tommy appears and starts blurting out Wedding Rainbow’s battle quotes. The girls try to keep him quiet, but are no match to the child.
