At the center for The Annual Disney Awards, the cast members are there, hoping Ember Lumen will win the title of Manager of the Year. First, a TV showing a slideshow of deceased cast members plays for everyone to remember. Then, the winner of the Manager of the Year is announced. To their disappointment, Snoopy wins the title, and receives a shiny trophy. He brags about how he's won many times, and that he has many other trophies. At first, Ember tries to tell herself that it's an honor to even be nominated, but she soon starts to feel jealous that she didn't win.

On the ride back to Disneyland, Rainbow Sparkle and Shield Wing offer to take Ember Lumen for a friends night out, but she refuses, saying it's for winners only. That's when Big Jet reveals a trophy - one he stole from Snoopy when he won the award. When an enraged Ember asks Big Jet why he stole the trophy, he tries to justify the action saying that it would make her feel better, and that Snoopy didn't want it anyway. She takes the stolen trophy from Big Jet and calls Snoopy to tell him that they have it, but he doesn't answer the phone. She leaves a message and declares that they can still have some fun while waiting for Snoopy to call back, so she and all the cast members go to some fun things throughout the night.

After that, they sit atop a mountain, and Ember explains how much fun she's had with the guys. She says that she had written something good about all her cast members in her winning speech for the Disney Awards, but she'll never get to say it because she didn't win. Then Shield Wing has an idea. They all go to the empty Disney Awards Center, a security guard lets them in, and Ember Lumen gets on stage to say his speech in front of the cast members, her only audience. Just then, the lights mysteriously go out, and a green laser flies from the microphone to the TV. The TV glows green, flashes, and the ghosts of deceased cast members come to life. They angrily ask her why she is giving a speech, since at least she's still alive, and not dead like them. Then, one of the ghosts attacks her and tries to take the microphone away from her. That's when the others attack the ghosts, and a huge fight between the cast members and the ghosts begin. Ember then picks up the microphone and tells everyone to stop, saying that all the ghosts are fighting for the same thing: to be appreciated. She suggests they stop fighting and get along. Happily, the four ghosts make their speech, and leave satisfied. Then Ember makes her speech.

Snoopy suddenly comes out of a closet, saying that he got Ember Lumen's message, and figured he would find her in the Disney Awards building. She returns the trophy to Snoopy, and he thanks her, saying that he hopes she didn't take a photo with it, because urban legend says that anyone who does will never win a Disney Award again. She is worried, since she did take a photo with it, but Snoopy says it's probably just a myth, and leaves in a private limo. Ember leaves the Disney Awards Center with the rest of the cast members.

When the arrive back at Disneyland, they award Ember Lumen with their very own award and paper trophy. Grateful, she makes a small speech, explaining how much she appreciates her cast members.
