Description
The duo, the girls, Shield Wing and Royal Strength are in a movie theater. They are watching a movie about how a couple spend their weekend apart. Only the girls like it while the guys think it's cheesy and lame. The film ends and exit out of the theater. Royal Strength wonders if they are 'taking their love for granted' and 'when they're too close, there's no space between them for love to grow'. After talking it over, she decides that she thinks that she and Shield Wing should the same thing of what she saw in the movie: spend a weekend without seeing each other to improve their love, with a catch that both must avoid contact by phone or visually.

After agreeing with this, the guys go off in one direction, while the girls go in another. Shield brags about it going to be easier not be able to contact Royal Strength for the weekend. In his house, Shield Wing watches his TV shows, until he see scenes that involves couples. It only makes him think of Royal Strength more than he tries other things, but it makes him remind him of her even more and is freaked out because the objects in his house and surroundings are covered with Royal Strength's face asking why Shield hasn't called her and that she misses him. He runs out of his home in fear. Rocket, Big Jet and Drago are chillin in a hot tub. Shield sees the guys and ask them to help him stay away from Royal Strength, which they all agree to. He tries to find ways to contact her, but the duo throw them all away before he can contact her.

At the Donut Joe donut shop, Royal Strength is wondering why Shield Wing isn't calling her. Twilight Sparkle reminded her that if he did call her she would dump him, but it turns out she didn't actually mean it. She says that Shield should know the difference between her meaning things and not meaning things. Twilight says that there is no way that Shield would tell what she is thinking. But she refuses to give up by not calling Shield because it is a 'test of their love'.

Back at Disneyland, the guys are all playing called Blockbusters Movie Quiz party game, but Shield Wing quits after hearing things about couples and goes back into his home. Rocket receives a call from Twilight Sparkle and they both talk about how Royal and Shield are. They both agree that it's dumb and Twilight says "if two people like each other, they should just be together". After embarrassing himself by talking about him and Twilight being together, he tells her he'd see her at midnight and hangs up. The boys check how Shield is doing in his home, but reveals that he has gone. But he is trying to get out of the window, but is pulled back in by the guys. Rocket suggests for backup, which is Ruby Gillman, Rainbow Sparkle and Calina.

Shield is so desperate for Royal that he is tied up on the couch, and that the cast members plan that they all take turns to keep watch of Shield after midnight. When 15 minutes are left and Big Jet is watching Shield, he asks him if he can be let go to go to the bathroom, but is a trick so he can get to Royal Strength. The cast members manage to hold him down as soon as he gets out of home and he starts to light up his magic. At the donut shop, Royal Strength sees Shield's light and runs out, but Twilight and Zipp hold her down, and she starts to magically glow too.

At about 25 seconds left, Shield and Royal turn into fireballs and they both speed up to the church. Just as the clock strikes 12, the fireballs clash into each other which cause an explosion. The cast members go see them, who turn out to be all right, and Shield thanks everyone and that it was worth it. In the middle of Rocket speaking, Shield and Royal embraced with each other. Rocket and Twilight agreeing never to invite them to movies again to prevent this love challenge from ever happening again.
