One day, Drago is talking to Blue when Zipp flies past and scolds Drago for talking instead of working. Drago later meets Zipp again and tells her that both he and Blue have a lot in common as they were both nearly sent away or end their life, to Zipp's horror. Drago continues, explaining how Blue is now Really Useful, but thinks that California could use another earth pony, to which Zipp agrees.

Later that night, Zipp has taken a box to a faraway part of California where only the villians work. She is working for her return journey when she hears a quiet call. She pauses, and hears the quiet call again. A voice comes from nearby, asking if she belongs to Princess Sunlight. The pony reveals herself as Sunny Starscout, who has run away from being tortured to her demise from the villians with her virtual assistant on her smartphone PAL, but has run out of energy, and PAL needed to be recharged. Zipp is still nervous at hearing the word "demise," meaning death, but then remembers Drago's story about Blue how Drago saved her from being put down at a shelter. The cast members work hard to rescue Sunny and PAL. Zipp begins the journey by bringing the two to Disneyland. Just before they about to fly off, a foreman and his watchdog stops them. The cast member explains that Sunny and PAL belong to them, and although wary at first, the foreman lets them continue. It is daylight when they finally arrive. The cast member finds a place at the hospital for Sunny, who thanks them all as she goes to have surgery to fix her up.

The next day, Zipp tells the others all about Sunny. They think Zipp should tell Princess Sunlight about her at once, just as she arrives. She explains that unless a earth pony is saved from near death from the villains, there is little hope to find one. Luckily, Princess Sunlight already knows about Sunny and decides that she will work with Applejack at Frontierland.

Sunny and PAL came out of the hospital after the operation and they are good as new. The others laugh and call Frontierland "Westernland" at first, but it delights Applejack and Sunny.
