Description

The episode starts with a pony named Derpy minding her business while wearing her cheap bag costume, when suddenly, the Rainbow Einsteins popping up from the bottom and Rainbow Sparkle said "Boo!", causing Derpy to fly off in fear, while they're on their way to the Nightmare Night party and they chanted "Party!" and Rainbow Sparkle tells them that they're inviting their friends and wear a costume as Emily told them that there's one more thing we need to have for the Nightmare Night Party: Halloween treats while Calina, holding a pumpkin basket, told them that they need to collect Halloween Treats with a candy bag and Rainbow Sparkle told that Lyra Aurora is going to trick or treat at the 4 special homes in Equestria. First they had to go to Canterlot Castle in Canterlot, secondly, they have to go to Songbird's mansion in Manehattan, third they have to go to the Crystal Palace in the Crystal Empire, and Lastly, they have to go to the Castle of Friendship in Ponyville. And so, Shield Wing told that if they can get Halloween treats from all four special homes, then they'll have enough for the Nightmare Night party.

Meanwhile, the team arrived at Canterlot and head inside as Lyra landed and everyone got off as Calina told Firey to knock on the door and so, he knocks to the tune of Shave in the Haircut and soon, the door opens, revealing the two royal sisters; Celestia and Luna. Rainbow Sparkle asks about their Halloween treats, but Celestia and Luna are confused as they realize they didn't get the treats and Calina told them to sing the trick or treat song as she told her to sing a trick or treat song and so, she sang the trick or treat song, and soon, Celestia and Luna realize about this and decided to place the treats in the candy bag all the way to top of the Canterlot Castle picture and Rainbow Sparkle told them that they need to fill the candy bag to the top as we can have enough for the Nightmare Night party. Soon, they hear some eering sound that is from a ghost, who wanted to eat up the treats. So Rainbow Sparkle put out her magic wand and told everyone that they've got a mission, which is fill the candy bag before the ghost could take their treats! So they all head inside Lyra, lock down the lapbars, do the launch sequence and blast off!

Soon, Lyra Aurora arrived at Manehattan and landed in front of Songbird Serenade's mansion. Unfortunately, her two bouncers are guarding the gate and they don't want Lyra to to enter. Soon, Calina saw that the bouncers have turned around and Monika had an idea that they're going to clap pianissimo to sneak past the bouncers while the bouncers backs are turned. So she have to clap pianissimo while Lyra moved inch by inch and when the bouncers turns around, they have to stop clapping and freeze so the bouncers doesn't catch them sneaking. Soon, they had past the bouncers and enter Songbird's mansion, and Firey knocks to the tune of Shave in the Haircut and the door open for them as Songbird greets them as Calina sang the trick or treat song and soon, Songbird Serenade gives out the treats as the candy bag fills to the top of Songbird's mansion picture. Soon, a duo of ghosts have come and want to take their treats! So they all head back to Lyra and blast off again!

Afterwards, they have arrived at the Crystal Empire, and landed in front of the Crystal Palace entrance and Shield Wing attempts to knock, but that knock didn't work as the door is made out of crystal because the knock sounded quiet, and Rainbow Sparkle told that there's a crystal xylophone near the door of the entrance and so, Shield Wing plays the crystal xylophone near the door of the entrance. Soon, the door opened, revealing Princess Cadance, and they all sang the trick or treat song and soon, she gives them the treats as the candy bag fills all the to the top of the Crystal Palace picture. All of sudden, a trio of ghosts came and want to take their treats so they all head back into Lyra Aurora and blast off one last time!

After they left Crystal Empire, the ghosts are catching up with the whole team as Rainbow Sparkle told that there's only one more place that they need to go, the Town Hall in Ponyville.

Therefore, the team arrived at Ponyville and they still hear ghosts, so they have to hover into the three sets of paths. They all knew that the first path, which is the statue path, had a ghost and the second path which is a flower path also had a ghost. So they have to go down the third path which is the hedge path, and so, Lyra heads down and navigate through the maze and made through the other side of the path and reached Ponyville where Town Hall is and Lyra landed in front of the entrance of the Town Hall. Unfortunately, all ghosts appear back, but Rainbow Sparkle takes a closer look and notices something under the ghosts' sheets; it is that moment she realizes they were not ghosts, but costumed ponies. They realized that the ghosts didn't want to take their treats, they just want to come to their Nightmare Night party. Soon, Shield Wing knocks the door in front of Town Hall and then the door opened, revealing Mayor Mare, and they all sang the trick or treat song. Soon, she gives them the treats as the treats fills all the way to the top of the candy bag. and they're ready for their Nightmare Night party in Ponyville.

Soon, as night falls, they all dressed up for the Nightmare Night party as Lyra Aurora dressed up as Rocket from the Little Einsteins. Soon, everyone sang the trick or treat song and the episode ends with Princess Luna (disguise as Nightmare Moon) wishing everyone a happy Nightmare Night.
